Banh mi sandwich
« on: July 11, 2017, 07:16:25 PM »
Made a banh mi.....simple as.

Pan fried some pork, then board dressed it with chilies, five spive and sesame oil.

A nice ce baguette, a spread of pate, freshly pickled carrots and daikon raddish, a few sticks of fresh cucumber and a "secret sauce" of mayo, hoisin and sriracha.

All in all a good feed for a hot July day

Love it Ozzy,  I could live off these things. Id love your take on a "Po Boy" sandwich.
Its incredible how someone came up with this mix of flavours to make the Banh mi.
Freakishly delicious.

Hehehe....working on just that, a po'boy. Pretty hot here so sandwiches are just the right kind of food.
