Wood supplies in brisbane
« on: April 04, 2017, 08:22:03 AM »
Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows a good place to get different wood chunks or logs near brisbane. Bbq galore sell 2.5kg bags around $30. I can occasionally get off cuts from work but not all that often.  $30 seems a bit steep for something that, well, grows on trees lol. Or am I wrong?

Box trailer or ute and a chain saw.
I did a few jobs this week out in the Tallebugera valley and there are trees down everywhere after the storm.
Look up fire wood suppliers for wood heaters in your area. They sell by the trailer load and quite often the good stuff like red iron bark. You cannot sustain those prices you quoted  :o
